I’ve struggled with hypoglycemia for a very long time. With out boring you with details of how it works (maybe in another entry), this is a problem with low blood sugar. If I eat to many carbs and not often enough I get sick. the treatment thus far is diet. eat heavy proteins and every 3 hours. eat eat eat by the time I’m done eating another 3 hours is up and time to eat again. I hate food, i hate what we do to our food how we sell it and how we consume it. north American success is based of mass consumption and before we came up with our disposable electronics and pepsi can houses, food is a great way to consume. eating every 3 hours made me feel like a part of that.

But something has changed, today i’m eating for the first time since i woke up at 7am , it’s nearly 2:30pm. I drank coffee today, the sweeteners put my blood sugar up and the caffeine repressed my natural hunger. my blood sugar did not crash. no pain and no reminder to eat and holy shit it’s 2:30.

I’m still not hungry but I’m eating anyways just so i don’t hurt myself while my body is changing to the new healthier version. so what changed? I’ll have to do some research to back up my theory. but what I’ve been told from the people that are into it,I’m fairly certain is the free diving. I will back my claim up with data once I gather it up!

I don’t know enough about sailing to wear a hat about it yet, but come this spring I’ll have a thing or 2 to say! 

Once I have my routine down to every day instead of every other, I will be posting pictures of the moves I feel I’d like to show off. Maybe I’ll post some ones I suck at too in order to log progress.

I went to the local ham radio breakfast they hold every week and met the boys. Although I think they were a bit disappointed that this Ashley was not a cute lil she-nerd, they were still excited to see someone under 50 years old there. The chat was amazing. These guys forgot more then I’ll ever know about radios and electronics. They said they’ll help anyway they can with testing studying and acquiring radios for a n00b like myself. Next step is to buy the study guide. I should do that today, the last guide I bought is 15 years old, talked about some serious procrastination.

I heard a song from The Kovenant today and really liked it, Ihttp://www.gentechranch.tk/ and Angel Spit Angelspit.net I found about a week ago. I’m into these guys as well, though they are better with headphoens on rather then being mixed for speakers. I’m sure many bands are mixing for the earbuds now since very few people listen to music not from an ipod or simular product. I love music, but i find everyone pluged into there mp3 no mater where they go is -almost- as annoying as cell phones. can we not enjoy our physical experences of this life anymore with out being pluged into something?
